Speakers' Bureau - updated May 19, 2010
The Central East Local Health Integration Network (CE LHIN) is one of 14 local health integration networks that have been established and launched in Ontario. The Ontario government is changing the delivery of health care services through the creation of LHINs which are community based organizations that will plan, co-ordinate, integrate and fund health care services at the local level.
The Central East LHIN Board of Directors and Senior Staff are continuing to work with community residents and local health care providers to implement recommendations outlined in the Integrated Health Services Plan (IHSP) which guides the delivery of health care services across the Central East area. Together our goal is to strengthen the accessibility and sustainability of our public health care system.
We would welcome any opportunity to speak with community groups to answer any questions about the Central East LHIN and provide information on how people can be involved in local health planning.
